Leather Skirt

This is a leather/silk skirt I made in school for one of the projects. It is "Barbarella" inspired, so retro-futuristic...

The skirt goes up the center front and then snaps around the neck.

Roller Skates

Quatro Queen of Catsuits

Another thing I love from the 70s are jumpsuits. In the 70s they took on the whole motorcycle racing theme which is amazing and tough.

Roller Queen

One of my latest obsessions, or inspirations, is the whole 1970's roller disco scene. With the knee-high athletic socks and short shorts.

Sgt Pepper

Sgt Pepper uniform inspired vest and shorts. I wanted to have a psychedelic blend of the different uniform colours.

Suit

With this suit, I took the "Mod" look but tried to make it look a little rougher and more feminine. And a bit like a police uniform.

The second outfit is a grey suit/dress which was inspired by the video for the Animal's "House of the Rising Sun". The video actually inspired me for the whole collection and what really kick-started my obsession with the sixties.

It is meant to have a very masculine/military feel to it but still be pretty feminine. The lining, which you can't see, is a pale yellow, like the button-down shirts they are wearing in the video.

School Fashion Show (Jumpsuit)

So these are the three outfits that I had made for the school's fashion show. My inspiration was the "Mod" part of the 1960s.

This outfit is a navy blue jumpsuit, made of suiting wool with a Union Jack lining. Underneath is a chiffon paisley shirt with a detachable "cravate".
